Fair refunds, clear rules

How and when we refund. Effective June 22, 2026.

Short version

Service didn't work? Refund. Charged twice? Refund. Changed your mind after using the AI features? No refund — but talk to us. Email refunds@aplyqk.com within 7 days with your order ID; we acknowledge in 24 hours and decide in 3 business days. Approved refunds reach your original payment method within 5-7 business days.

1. Scope and acceptance

This Cancellation and Refund Policy ("Policy") governs cancellation and refund of purchases made on https://aplyqk.com and applies to all users of the Service.

By purchasing a pass on Aplyqk, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this Policy. This Policy must be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Product summary

Aplyqk sells time-limited passes (3-day, 7-day, 15-day, 30-day) that unlock automated job hunting and AI-assisted application features. Passes are one-time purchases — they do NOT auto-renew or rebill. Once a pass expires, your account reverts to the free tier and you may purchase a new pass at any time.

Because pass activation begins immediately on successful payment and consumes paid resources (AI inference calls, job-board API quota, email sends, agent processing), refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis under the rules below.

3. Cancellation

Passes are non-cancellable once active because the underlying compute is provisioned at purchase. You may, however, stop using the Service at any time without further charge — there is no recurring billing to cancel.

If you have set up UPI Autopay (optional feature for future recurring passes), you can cancel anytime from your UPI app's mandate management screen, from /dashboard/billing, or by emailing support@aplyqk.com.

4. Eligibility for a full refund

You are eligible for a 100% refund if:

(a) Service outage — Aplyqk's platform was unavailable for more than 50% of your purchased pass duration due to issues on our side (verified via UptimeRobot logs).

(b) Duplicate charge — your payment method was charged more than once for the same pass due to a payment processing error.

(c) Unauthorized transaction — a payment was made from your account without your authorization, AND you report it within 7 days of the charge.

(d) Pass not activated — payment succeeded but the pass was not activated on your account within 1 hour. (Activation is normally near-instant; failures are caused by webhook issues that we resolve manually.)

5. Eligibility for a partial refund

(a) Significant feature failure — if a core feature (job hunt scheduler, AI scoring, AI cover letter generation, email send) failed for more than 24 continuous hours during your pass, you may receive a partial refund proportional to the unusable duration.

(b) Early cancellation — if you cancel within 24 hours of purchase AND you have used fewer than 5 AI-driven actions (job match, resume tailor, cover letter, email send, profile generation), you may receive a 50% refund.

6. Non-refundable scenarios

(a) Change of mind after using paid features — passes that have been actively used (received job matches, sent applications, generated cover letters, scored job postings) are non-refundable.

(b) Job-search outcomes — Aplyqk is a tool, not a guarantee. We do not promise interviews, offers, or specific results. Lack of job offers, interviews, or recruiter responses is not grounds for a refund.

(c) Account suspension — passes purchased before a verified Terms-of-Service violation are non-refundable.

(d) Requests submitted more than 7 days after purchase, unless the issue is service-side (sections 4 and 5(a)) and was first reported within the 7-day window.

7. How to request a refund

Email refunds@aplyqk.com with subject line: "Refund Request — [Pass Type] — [Order ID]".

Include: your registered email, Razorpay payment ID or order ID (from your receipt), pass type purchased, purchase date, and the specific reason for the refund. Screenshots or evidence (UptimeRobot links, error screens) speed up processing.

We acknowledge every refund request within 24 hours and issue an approval/denial decision within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.

8. Refund processing details

All refunds are processed via Razorpay back to the original payment method (UPI, card, netbanking, or wallet used at purchase). We do not offer cash refunds, bank transfers to a different account, store credits, or refunds to other payment methods.

Typical timeline by method (set by your bank/UPI provider, not by us): UPI — 24-48 hours. Cards — 5-7 business days. Netbanking — 5-7 business days. Wallets — 24-72 hours.

Approved refunds reflect as a credit on your original instrument. You will receive an email confirmation from us and a separate notification from Razorpay when the refund is initiated.

9. Taxes and GST

Pass prices listed on /pricing are inclusive of applicable taxes (18% GST for Indian customers, where applicable). Refunds are issued at the full charged amount including any GST collected.

10. Disputes and chargebacks

Please contact support@aplyqk.com BEFORE initiating a chargeback through your bank or card issuer. We resolve virtually all issues directly and faster than the bank dispute process.

If you initiate a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us, your Aplyqk account may be suspended pending dispute resolution. If we are charged a chargeback fee by Razorpay, we may pass that fee on to you on a future refund or pursue it separately as permitted by law.

11. Force majeure

Aplyqk is not liable for service interruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control — including but not limited to internet or infrastructure provider outages (Hetzner, Razorpay, Resend, LLM providers), DNS provider issues, natural disasters, or government action. In such cases we will, at our discretion, extend the affected pass duration by an equivalent period rather than refund.

12. Modifications

We may revise this Policy from time to time. Material changes affecting refund eligibility will be announced at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the bottom indicates the most recent revision. Purchases made before a revision are governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
